Be careful with the food portions for your loved ones!

I can’t help but share a mini-story that happened to me today 😂 Thinking about it now, it was really funny.

I am the one who cooks and puts meals on the plates in my home. You know, that women stuff. I made baked chicken breasts with grilled summer veggies. A nice light lunch for the day when there is 35 C/ 95 F outside.

I am putting the food on the plate for my partner. He seems to be happy about my meal choice today, so all is fine. I put him some chicken and some veggies and I am passing the plate to him. He looks at me in disbelief: THAT´S IT???? I stare at him, don’t understand what he means, what is wrong?

Give me more! I am starving!

And I stare at the plate for a while and then it dawns on me… sure, my portion optics got seriously distorted with time. I eat like a bird and I somehow assume that it is normal.

No, it is not 😀Other people eat way more than you. So lesson learned today: be nice to your loved ones and give them mountains of food 😂 even if it looks to you that only a giant could eat that. They will be happy. And not hungry 😂
